WHAT IS TRUE ONLINE

Over the past three years, we have witnessed significant efforts by both state and non-state international actors to spread disinformation online in order to influence election outcomes among other things . Through the deployment of bot and semi-automated accounts on social media sharing false and sensationalised stories, or ‘memetic warfare’ deployed from the chatrooms of 4chan, ‘alt-right’ and Kremlin-backed activists have sought to wage ‘malign influence’election campaigns in the US, France, Germany and Italy in favour of xenophobic, nationalist parties. etc.
  • Why? The media climate is going from bad to worse and it escalates quickly.
  • What? We need to give the common public an easy way to see thru the shades of darkness, we are now in the darkages of Internet since just like in the darkages, knowledge has became a commodity very much like the gutenberg made books and knowledge availble, in those days the kings and Church saw that as a huge treat, quite like how some presidents and media handle the new era....
  • How? We will provide a crowd sourced platform where we will let the general population help each other to stop false news to spread with out anyone objecting that "hey" this is wrong, we are lazy and it is "fun" to share things that get clicks. We will never block anything, we will put a visible text on the site, frame or tweet with some recomendation of how others see this information and that it is up to you to choose. The plugin is just there to help you navigate in the new archipelago with some friendly advise and headsup. We dont log any personal information, we dont save your surf history, ip number or wnything else more than a counter of how manu users that have requested one specific site/url or tweet. We will later provide a top list of the Categories below.
